For you who can't figure out what was happening i hope this helps:

In this flash all people are trapped by that monster bird thing, and when 1 of them escapes the monster goes ape shit and tries to kill him, to the best he could, when the escapy finally is about to die he pole out some sort of machine, (that he probably stole from the monster guy), and he uses it to end the world, so nobody has to suffer anymore.
